  3. Picture Book What is a Verb?
  4. Simple Sentence GimKit!
  5. Simple Sentence Test-put the test in the tray and return your folder once you finish.

  1. Write down The Sentence Writing Strategy-Compound Sentence notes (cards 7-10 ONLY) in your binder. They are on the RIGHT side of the Classroom Blog under 8th grade information.
  2. Watch and complete the What is a Compound Sentence EdPuzzle in Google Classroom. YOU MUST HAVE HEADPHONES TO COMPLETE THIS TASK.
  3. Compound Blooket Practice LINK
  4. Once you’re done, check Skyward and complete any missing work AND/OR work on your A.R. points-12.5 points are due on 10/1

6th grade English

Monday, September 15th (3rd hour) and Tuesday, September 16th (5th & 8th)-

  1. Silent Reading/AR testing time
  2. Dot DAY! in-class activity/competition LINK to story
  3. Open Google Classroom on your Chromebook
  4. Book Source and Information Quiz-DUE TODAY!
  5. Done with the quiz? Put it in the turn-in tray and return your folder.
  6. Finish IXL: You must take a screenshot and post it to the assignment section under IXL in Google Classroom when you're done! IXL is DUE Wednesday at 3:10 p.m.
  7. DONE? Read or A.R. test REMEMBER: You have 7.5 points due on 10/1 (in two weeks)
