4. While you're listening/reading pay attention to the examples of figurative language: personification, simile, and metaphor are used many times throughout the story.
5. Complete the paragraph assignment in Google Classroom DUE TODAY

7. Find a great book to read! *NO A.R. testing today

2. Go over Reading grades and expectations (0.5 books, using time wisely, AND improving Qtr 1 score)
3. Online Library Card and Libby Link-in Google Classroom under BOOKS!
4. Figurative Language Review BLOOKET
5. Newsletter Instructions, overview LINK, drawing for a short story, and work time
6. Read or listen to the short story and complete the Who, What, Where sheet
7. Watch the Newsletter format video 
8. Create your Newsletter DUE NEXT MONDAY * at the end of class
